Doing the job right

Bob Spear and partner Tom Wills have built more than 100 homes in western North Carolina. Before they formed Spear and Wills in 2000, Bob worked in the area as Robert Spear, General Contractor. Tom had owned and operated Asheville-based Sierra Construction. For years, clients have been singing their praises.

Spear & Wills builds primarily in the $500,000 to $1 million range - a mix of primary and secondary homes.

On every project, the company sticks to a singular philosophy. "We're constantly concerned about what the customer wants, about doing a great job, and keeping within their budget," says Bob. "We keep overhead as low as we can and carry the savings on to the customer, but won't sacrifice quality."
